Today I gonna show you the basic manufacturing process of the trailers. And telling you some points that may affect the quality of trailer during manufacturing.
First, before mass production, technical department makes the design drawing according to the needs of users and the market, so that the main technical parameters of each trailer meet customs' requirement. Then the drawing will be delivery to the Ministry of manufacturing.
In accordance with the design drawing, using the CNC cutting machine cut out the components, including beam webs, reinforcing plate, etc. as well as the standards gadget.
2. Beam, submerged arc welding girders
The second step is to fixed the cut web and up and down plates together. Then welding beams by SAW. This step is very important, for fixed beams and submerged arc welding are very demanding. The main beam will be fragile and if technical process is below standard. And how can you say a trailer good without a good main beam!
First, cut beam plates out of U-shaped hole, which could go through the secondary beam. Then paralleling I-beam girder, and put secondary beam through U-shaped holes. Collating the depth of parallelism is very important. Once the I-beam girders is not paralleled well , it will cause serious friction between tyres and beams.
In this step, the main beam has basically shape up. The next step is to weld the side beams into basic frame structure. At the same time, welding the traction pin to the pointed location in the contract .
In this step, it requires strict control about right size of suspension, as well as the right position. Otherwise. It will cause serious friction between tyres and beams, too.
This step is mainly for low bed trailer and high-low type trailer. Not for the flat bed trailer. The neck is welded to the low bed trailer. After welding, reinforcement is a necessary step to ensure the strength of the trailer.
7. BEDDING
The floor is fully welded or soldered down on the frame.
8. The vertical panels for vertical doors
Fixed the panel by spot welding, then welding the columns, hinges, etc, in order to keep the vertical plate appearance.
Dull polishing is the previous step before the painting. Some manufacturers without blasting workshop will polished with a high-pressure gas blowing and polish welding slag at this stage.
Paint usually proceed in a well-ventilated workshop. While to spray paint beautiful, it is up to the technology of works and paints’ quality.
After painting, the next stage is to assemble the walking system, including the axles, suspensions, etc. and then test.
In a word, standardizing manufacturing process guarantee the quality of the trailers. And that's how we do to make the good trailers for our clients!
